Puff: Crochet with a total of 11 loops. Replace the needle, insert the needle in / on the designated stitch, pick up the yarn, repeat 5 times. When you have 11 loops on the needle, pick up yarn and thread the needle through the loops, puff crochet with 1 st.
One tip is to switch to a crochet hook less when you work the round with the puff, the puff will become firmer. This I learned from @Crochetedbytess
R1. (C1) Crochet 4ch to a loop with 1 sl st in 1st ch.
R2. (C1) around ch4 you crochet 12 hdc. Cut the yarn.
R3. (C2) Crochet 2sc in the space between hdc, you skip hdc = 24 sc. Cut the yarn.
R4. (C3) On this lap I have chosen to crochet with a smaller crochet hook, 2.5.
Attach the new yarn with 1 sl st in 1sc. Crochet 1dc in same stitch. *1puff in next sc. 1dc in next sc* =12dc + 12puff. Cut the yarn.
R5. (C4) Attach the new yarn with 1 sl st in 1dc. Crochet 1sc in same stitch. *1sc in space between dc and puff, 1 fp hdc around puff, 1sc in space between puff and dc, 1sc in dc*
R6. (C4) crochet 1sc in each stitch = 48sc. Cut the yarn.
R7. (C1) Attach the new yarn in 1stitch, crochet 1dc in same stitch. 1dc in previous stitch = X-stitch. *Skip 1stitch, 1dc in next stitch, 1dc in previous stitch* =24 X-stitch. Cut the tarn.
R8. (C2) Attach the new yarn with 1 sl st in space between dc forming the X-stitch. Crochet (1dc, 1ch,1dc) = V-stitch, in the same same space as sl st. *skip 2dc, in next space between dc forming X-stitch (2dc together, 2ch,2dc together) = special V-stitch, skip 2dc, in next space between dc forming X-stitch crochet (1dc, 1ch,1dc)* = 12 V-stitch + 12 Special V-stitch. Cut the yarn.
R9. (C3) Attach the yarn with 1 sl st around ch2 in a special V-stitch, around the same ch2 crochet (6 dc), 2 ch, * Skip the next V-stitch. around ch2 in the next special V-stitch crochet (6 dc) 2 ch * = 12 groups with 6dc = 72dc + 24 ch. Cut the yarn.
R10. (C5) On this round I have chosen to crochet with a smaller crochet hook, 2.5.
Attach the yarn in 1st dc of 6 with 1sl st, in the same stitch crochet 1 bp dc. Crochet bp dc in next 5 dc= 6 bp dc* 1ch, 1 puff around ch1 in V-stitch that was skipped on round 9. 1ch, 6 bp dc * = 72 bp dc, 24 ch, 12 puff. Cut the yarn.
R11. (C4) Attach the yarn in 1st bp dc with 1 sl st. 1 bp hdc in the same stitch. Continue with 1 bp hdc in next 5 bp dc * Around puff 1 bp dc, continue with 1 bp hdc in next 6 bp d * = 72 bp hdc, 12 bp dc
R12. (c4) crochet, 1hdc, *2ch, skip 1 bp hdc, 11hdc in next bp hdc* = 42 hdc + 84 ch.
R13 (C4) 1hdc in the hdc, *2ch, skip ch2, 1hdc in next hdc* =42 hdc + 84 ch.
R14. (c4) sl st to ch2, around ch2 you crochet 3sc, * skip hdc, 3sc around next ch2* =126 sc. Cut the yarn.
R15. (C1) Attach the new yarn in 1stitch, crochet 1dc in same stitch. 1dc in previous stitch = X-stitch. *Skip 1stitch, 1dc in next stitch, 1dc in previous stitch* = 63 X-stitch, cut the yarn
R16. (C2) Attach the new yarn with 1 sl st in space between dc forming the X-stitch. Crochet (1dc, 1ch,1dc) = V-stitch, in the same same space as sl st. *skip 2dc, in next space between dc forming X-stitch (1dc, 1ch, 1dc) = V-stitch*= 63 V-stitch. Cut the yarn.
R17. (C3) On this round I have chosen to crochet with a smaller crochet hook, 2.5.
Attach the new yarn with 1sl st around ch1 between 2dc. Around same stitch crochet 1 puff, *3 ch, skip 2dc, around next ch1 crochet 1puff* = 63 puff + 189 ch. Cut the yarn.
R18. (C4) Attach the yarn with 1 sl st on the space between 2 V-Stitch on roun 16. In the same space crochet 2 d * 1 fp dc around puff, 2 dc in the space between next 2 V-stitches. * = 126dc + 63 fp dc
R19. (C4), 1 hdc, ** 1ch, skip 1 stitch, 1hdc in next stitch** repeat 92 more times, 1ch, skip 2 stitches 1sl st in 1st hadc = 94 hdc + 94ch
R20. (C4), 1hdc in hdc, *1ch, skip ch1, 1 hdc in next hdc* = 94 hdc + 94ch
R21. (C4) *crochet 3sc in each ch1, skip hdc* =282 sc

R25. (C5) On this round I have chosen to crochet with a smaller crochet hook, 2.5.
Attach the yarn in 2 dc of 6 with 1sl st, in the same stitch crochet 1 bp dc. Crochet bp dc in next 5 dc= 6 bp dc* 1ch, 1 puff around ch1 in V-stitch that was skipped on round 9. 1ch, 6 bp dc * = 188 bp dc + 47 puff. Cut the yarn,
R26. (C3) Attach the yarn in 1st bp dc with 1 sl st, 1 sc + 2 ch in the same stitch, * 1 dc + 2 ch in the following 2 bp dc, 1 sc in 4th bp dc, 1 fp sc around puff. 1 sc + 2 ch in bp dc*
